In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external customers
Define and assess with product engineering details of required prototype
Evaluate and propose most suitable prototype manufacturing process
Design, develop, operate & maintain complex test equipment and automated data acquisition systems, using programming applications such as LabVIEW, FlexLogger, DIAdem, and DeltaV.
Build and integrate custom test systems using National Instruments (NI) hardware and electromechanical components
Analyze experimental results and prepare clear, data-driven engineering reports including conclusions and recommendations
Create, document, and implement engineering best practices
Interpret industry standards that pertain to HPBV testing and coordinate testing associated with certification.
Provide technical input and direction to the design and evaluation of new product concepts, including conceptualization, design review, and testing of complex products.
Lead future development of lab space specific to Isolation Valve testing.
Drive efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory
Mentor and support other engineers while promoting best practices and continuous learning
Work effectively in a global and local team with the ability to work independently in local test facility to drive projects forward.
Leverage expertise in valve test methods and lead continuous improvement and implementation of test technologies across the global labs
Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager

For This Role, You Will Need:
Proven competency and experience with data acquisition systems and instrumentation of mechanical systems
Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
Demonstrated commitment to safety and risk management in planning process
Ability to apply fundamental knowledge of mathematics and physical sciences to real-world applications supporting the development of products, test equipment, test procedures, and measurement techniques.
Background in machine design, material selection and manufacturing methods
Working experience in CAD software, such as Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidwork.
Experience with pressure retaining materials, material coatings, and wear mechanisms
Background in machine design, material selection and manufacturing methods
Hands on experience with design/certification standards like EN 12516, ASME standards, API 609, AWWA, ISO15848, API 607, TSx, SIL etc.
New product designs, development, hands on experience with design verification tools such as 6σ, GD&T, DFMEA, QFD, DFM/A and engineering calculations
Strong communication skills
Must be well organized, detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Willingness to work outside traditional work hours to interact with supporting locations globally

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline
English fluent – verbal and writing, any additional language is a plus
Minimum Work Experience Required:
Min. of 8 years related experience with min. of 5 years in the area of industrial valves
Experience in matrix organization with skip level reporting
Experience working with remote/global teams
